Our websites may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of sites to which we provide links. You should check the privacy policies of these other websites before choosing to provide any personal information to such third-party sites.
How do we Utilize Cookies and Tracking Technologies?
Whenever you interact on our website or applications, we receive and store information in the form of internet “cookies.” A cookie is a small text file stored on your device that identifies your browser, device, or IP address, but not you as an individual, to a computer whenever you visit a website. Through log files and other technologies, we collect the IP addresses of all visitors to our websites and other related information. For our applications, we collect similar information and use this information to help us understand user activity on our websites, provide appropriate content for our region, and monitor and improve our websites.
We use cookies on the pages on our websites where you are prompted to log in. These cookies (1) may let us know who you are, (2) may be necessary to access your account information to provide personalized services, and (3) may provide us and our service providers with information that we will use to personalize our websites in accordance with your preferences and interests. You may set your Web browser to notify you when you receive a cookie or to not accept certain cookies. We do not use cookies to track your behavior before or after leaving our website or applications. Most cookies are “session cookies,” meaning they are automatically deleted at the end of a session when you close your browser.
Our websites may also use a technology called "tracer tags" or “web beacons”. A web beacon is a small transparent graphic image that allows us to record simple user actions related to our websites and email communications received from us, to help us determine the usage and effectiveness of our site and communications. These “images” are automatically loaded to your browser or device when you visit the website or an email from us. This technology allows us to optimize and tailor our websites for you.
How do we Engage in Interest-Based Advertising?
Green Lane may engage third-party platforms to provide users with interest targeted advertising, which is based on the platform’s user data and interactions with Green Lane outside of the platform. We work with third parties that use their own tracking technologies on websites and applications to provide tailored advertisements on our behalf on third party websites across the internet. These companies collect information about your activity across your different devices on websites and applications and use this information to make predictions about your preferences, develop personalized content, and deliver advertisements that are more relevant to you on third party websites and applications. We provide to the platform provider a “hashed version” of your email address or other potentially connecting information, which could be matched to your profile with that platform. Hashing is a mathematical operation that applies an equation to information to produce an encrypted value that cannot be reversed to reveal the original data. Both Green Lane and the platform run the same one-way hash function on the same data element. As a result, when Green Lane provides the platform with the hashed email addresses of a selected group of customers, the platform can match the hashed value against the corresponding hashed value for users of the platform, allowing the platform to target Green Lane customers that are users of that platform with relevant advertising, based on demographic and other factors selected by Green Lane. Green Lane provides only the hashed value and no other information about you to the platform.
Our website may use your personal information to target advertisements of interest through social media platforms. You may opt-out of interest-based advertising by clicking on the AdChoices icon on any advertisement that appears while browsing the website. Please note, you may still see advertisements after opting out as tracking technologies collect data for other purposes.
How Secure is your Personal Information?
Green Lane makes reasonable efforts to ensure that your personal information is protected while using our site. We have technological, physical, and contractual security measures designed to protect against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification of personal information.
Can you Opt Out to our Use of your Personal Information?
You may withdraw your consent to our use or disclosure of your personal information at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions. Lack of consent to use your personal information may result in ineligibility for certain promotional services.
With your consent, or as otherwise permitted by law, we may use personal information to communicate with a customer regarding products, services, promotions, contests, offers, incentives, rewards, surveys, questionnaires, and other pertinent matters. If you prefer not to receive such communications, you may opt-out at any time by unsubscribing from such messages or contacting Green Lane at the information provided under “Contact Us” to request that your email address be removed from future communications.
To successfully opt-out, you must have cookies enabled in your web browser. Please see your browser’s instructions for information on cookies and how to enable them. You must opt-out of each web browser on each device. Once you opt out, if you delete your browser’s saved cookies, you may need to opt-out again.

A customer has the right to examine personal information collected upon request. You may request Green Land to correct or delete any personal information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or irrelevant. Requests must be emailed to info@greenlanedelivery.com and Green Lane will respond within 30 business days.
